Our next Workshop is on framing for your exhibition work so hope you will all enjoy.
Marilyn held a meeting at the Institute for all to talk about the Street Art we are doing at the Taliesin to greet people to the Exhibition and all those people coming for the Festival of Stitch on the festival trail.
The Theme is Sweets loosely based on Willy Wonka and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Marilyn and Karen will bring more news on that and the next gathering to exchange ideas and fabrics. there are some pictures from Pinterest giving a few ideas. To have a little bit of cohesion the following sweets are the most popular.
Lollies, Liquorice Allsorts, Dolly Mixtures, Humbugs, Quality Street and any old fashioned pick and mix sweets, so plenty of choice. Hopefully by the next meeting there will be a few samples to show and exchange of fabrics to help, there is already quite a selection available so do come and collect some for your chosen sweets! There will be cellophane available too!
Hope to see a few more people at the next meeting but the Tuesday and Friday meetings will also be Sweet Making!
